The Collaborator & Storyteller
Collaboration is a fundamental part of the creative project that I adore. The art I outline on this page above is proof of that. I am honored to highlight the next major collaborations I am working on below. More information to come soon!
The Final Bell, an one act play written by France Violet Jones
In a world where survival of the fittest reigns supreme- with victims lying dead and victors taking their place– Melody Starkly is the salutatorian of Johnson High School. A lone wolf, Melody spends her days without love and friendship in the name of avoiding the pain of loss and her own death. The lives of the top 10 students of Johnson High are placed in a pressure cooker in the days leading up to the final ranking of their graduating class. Melody is forced to answer the question she’s avoided her whole life: who are you willing to become to survive?

Fries & Milkshakes, a short film created by France Violet Jones
College is an opportunity to learn more about the world, and yourself. After spending a year apart at their separate universities, best friends Monty and Josie have reunited for what will be the last time. Monty’s time at her HBCU (Historically Black College/University) and Josie’s experience at her PWI (Predominately White Institution) has driven a wedge between each other that neither are willing to acknowledge. Two sides of the same coin, both women try to have the other understand the same concept: Being Black in this world is hard.
